LA PEÑA DE BERNAL

A study made by experts of the Mining Faculty of the Autonomous National University of Mexico (UNAM), concluded that one million years ago, in the place where the rock is today, there was a volcano. When it quenched its basaltic washes (formed by magma from the center of the land) it solidified; this part extends kilometers downward as a great nail. It is a delight to travel its narrow roads, admire its beautiful "telares" crafts and a good rest in the benches of its Main Plaza after a day full of activities.
